Since 2001, Byrne Equipment Rental has had a presence in KSA starting in the Eastern Province, where oil and gas exploration continues to develop at an accelerated pace. Today, we operate under the name of "Byrne Investments Saudi Arabia Limited" with most local and international companies operating in Saudi Arabia familiar with our Al Khobar base.
In addition, we’ve also extended out reach by establishing our KSA headquarters and operational base in the industrial city of Jubail, home of the SABIC industries.
The company has also recently launched yet another anchor point in the industrial city of Yanbu in the Western Province. The potential of the Yanbu market, where the entire SABIC and ARAMCO operations are being replicated, is based on the same guidelines as Jubail, in the Eastern Province. The operations are strategically located within the Royal Commission Support Industrial Area to cater to the needs of various industries.
A fourth branch is in the process of being set up in Riyadh - our sales infrastructure is already in place and a suitable base is being finalised to become fully operational in the fourth quarter of 2010.
To consolidate our service, storage and training facilities, we have also started work on a state-of-the-art Central Service Workshop. The facility covers an area of 10,000 square metres and is located strategically on the Jubail-Dammam Highway, with easy access to Jubail 2 & 3.
