Byrne Hosts Corporate Golf Day
BYRNE Equipment Rental hosted their annual Corporate Golf Day at Doha Golf Club recently. It was their sixth event of this kind. As many as 100 golfers participated in the event and more than 150 guests participated in the prize distribution dinner and entertainment provided by Irish artiste, Brian Brody.
The winning team of Graeme Newport, Noel Greaney, Fazal Kazi and Eddie Evanelista had a 58 nett. The team of Alan Imrie, Glen Mercer, Padraig Mulvey and Alan Crozier were second with a 59 nett on countback. Dave Moreland, Martin Walsh, Bob Noble and Dave Hudson were third with 59 nett.
Special prizes: Longest Drive: Nigel Thorpe and Andy Peters; nearest to pin: Barry Britton and Duncan Bonner; nearest to the rope: Scott McShane and Terry Farnworth.
